Happy Valentine's Day! Hope you are enjoying your day.
I remembered that I hadn't shared this whole mini album with you yet, and thought I'd pop in really quick and post it. I created this for the CHA show for the Pink Paislee booth. The album is one of the new canvas albums and I used the Bayberry Cottage line of papers, borderline stickers, flip notes, etc!
I called it "Slice of life" and used tall skinny photos to represent "slice". Love printing out my photos at home because I can crop and make them any size I choose with Photoshop!
I found photos of Kati doing different things, and I was thinking to myself...what is really important in life? I came up with 5 things....play, see, learn, love, and be. I think when you are a child, you embrace all of these things!
I first painted all the chipboard pages with acrylic paint, making it look shabby by not painting every little bit. Then added a borderline sticker, pleated ribbon, Artisan tape and some rub ons.
I did end up covering the inside and back covers with patterned paper before I sent it off to the show, but didn't have time to take all new photos. I think the mini albums come finished off though, and this was just an early sample for us to create with.
What do you think of the ribbon flower on the cover? I have been making these myself with grosgrain ribbon and having fun with them....just love them so much. I have started selling them, 10 flowers for $8 plus $2 for shipping. Please e-mail me if you are interested: email@example.com. I also have red, gray, pink, pumpkin and dark brown. Since they are handmade, they are all slightly different, but are approximately 2" across in size.
Thanks for stopping in today!
